Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of Seersucker, operated by Spoon Seller LLC. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post unlawful, harassing, hateful, or infringing content;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- spam, scrape, or abuse the service or its rate limits;
- attempt to break, probe, or circumvent security or access controls.
Your content
You own the content you post. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and distribute it within the service so we can operate it. You can remove your content or delete your account at any time.
The rhetoric tags
Seersucker annotates posts with contextual tags (e.g. “claim,” “source needed”) and thread maps generated by an automated system. These are reading aids and opinions, not statements of fact or judgments about you or any author. They can be wrong. Nothing in the tags is intended to defame, and they should not be treated as verification.
Moderation & termination
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or harm the community. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that tags, rankings, or maps are accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spoon Seller LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
Changes
We may update these terms; we will revise the date above when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
